Bkav518 cập nhật thêm virus W32.Beagle.Y.

Để diệt các virus W32.Beagle.Y, bạn cần thực hiện theo các bước sau:

1. Tải phần mềm Bkav phiên bản Bkav518 về một thư mục trên máy.

2. Nếu bạn dùng Windows Me hoặc XP thì phải tắt chức năng System Restore của hệ điều hành đi.

3. Nếu máy của bạn có cài các chương trình diệt virus khác như NAV, McAffe thì phải tạm thời tắt chức năng tự động bảo vệ (Auto Protect) của các chương trình đó.

4. Chạy Bkav518, chọn quét tất cả các file, tất cả các ổ đĩa.

5. Khởi động lại máy tính để hoàn tất.

Mô tả kỹ thuật virus W32.Beagle.Y

Khi được kích hoạt, W32.Beagle.Y làm các công việc sau:

1. Nếu ngày hiện tại lớn hơn 25/1/2005 thì nó sẽ không hoạt động nữa.

2. Tạo key "drvsys.exe"="%System%\drvsys.exe" trong

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\.DEFAULT\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

để khởi động cùng với Windows

3. Copy chính nó vào thư mục %system% của hệ điều hành với tên là drvsys.exe, đồng thời tạo ra các file: drvsys.exeopen, drvsys.exeopenopen

4. Kết thúc các tiến trình sau nhằm ngăn cản sự hoạt động của các chương trình diệt virus cũng như các phần mềm bảo mật khác.

5. Nếu qua ngày 25/1/2005, virus sẽ xóa các key:

6. Copy bản thân nó vào các thư mục có chữ shar thành những file sau:
